Market Making Associate

About the role

We're seeking an analytically sharp Market Making Associate with a background in econometrics or quantitative economics. You’ll work directly with the founder and play a central role in shaping and refining our market-making strategies. This is a high-impact role for someone who wants to scale with a fast-growing, tech-driven business. You’ll get ownership and direct influence on strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimise pricing, liquidity, and matching models using real-time market data
• Monitor market dynamics and customer behaviour to improve market structure and performance
• Identify arbitrage opportunities and optimise spreads, execution, and margins
• Build internal dashboards and tools for real-time market monitoring
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering to automate and scale market making operations
• Support fundamental analysis and go-to-market strategy for new categories or markets

You are

• Degree-qualified in econometrics, mathematics, quantitative economics, or a related quantitative field
• Strong analytical thinker with experience working with complex datasets and modelling techniques
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action and ownership
• Clear communicator, able to turn data into actionable insights
• Proficient in Python, R or similar; SQL experience is a plus
• Based in Amsterdam
