About us

M1 Capital is the largest digital asset hedge fund in the Netherlands with over $180mln in AUM across its entities, and one of the top performing funds in the space. We run systematic and discretionary market-neutral strategies across DeFi and CeFi, built to deliver steady returns in every market condition.

We’re looking for an Investor Relations & Business Development Manager to lead our fundraising efforts, build lasting investor relationships, and expand our global network of allocators. In this leading role, you’ll drive the design and execution of our capital-raising strategy, playing a pivotal part in scaling our funds globally.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in crypto, particularly DeFi, combined with a strong grounding in finance, business development, and investor relations. You understand protocols, market structure, and the pace of the crypto ecosystem, while also being fluent in the language of allocators: portfolio construction, risk frameworks, fund due diligence, and capital-raising dynamics. This combination allows you to translate complex strategies into narratives that resonate with both crypto-native and institutional audiences.

What you'll do

  • Manage relationships with fund of funds, family offices, institutions, and HNW investors;
  • Lead fundraising efforts: lead outreach, follow-ups, and pipeline management;
  • Prepare investor communications, including factsheets, DDQs, and pitch materials
  • Organize and represent M1 Capital at investor meetings, conferences, and roadshows;
  • Coordinate onboarding with fund administrators, legal, and compliance partners;
  • Provide regular investor updates and insights on fund performance and strategy.

Preferred skills

  • Knowledge of digital assets, DeFi, and crypto market structure;
  • Proven relationship-building and communication skills;
  • Background in economics/finance, and familiarity with alternative investments;
  • Ability to manage a fundraising pipeline and close commitments;
  • Entrepreneurial drive and a sense of ownership;
  • Based in Amsterdam or open to relocation;
  • An existing investor network is a strong plus;
  • Fluent in English; native Dutch preferred.

What we offer

  • Competitive compensation with bonus structure;
  • Modern office in central Amsterdam;
  • Yearly company trips.
